Jack Wright

1933-2007

Jack Wright was a long-time member of AADB and a former board member. Deaf-blind himself, he was a strong advocate within the deaf-blind community. With his positive outlook on life and “can do” attitude, Jack was an inspiration to all the deaf-blind people that he met.

Because Jack loved AADB national conferences and gave hope to others, his family and AADB have established The Jack Wright Memorial Scholarship Fund. The purpose of this fund is to provide financial support for deaf-blind people to attend AADB national conferences that they could otherwise not afford.
