American Association of the Deaf-Blind (AADB) is happy to offer organization memberships to bona fide national, state, and local for-profit and non-profit entities with a mission or interest in promoting the betterment of deaf-blind people.
AADB is a consumer-driven national advocacy and membership organization of, by, and for people with combined vision and hearing loss. We not only have people with combined hearing and vision loss as members, but we have family members, professionals, and other supporters who are also members.
We would like to invite your organization to join AADB.
Below are some of the benefits we offer for organizational membership:
- Technical assistance and advice on how to make products and services accessible for people with both vision and hearing loss;
- Subscription to our "AADB Today" e-newsletter; this e-newsletter highlights AADB activities, legislative and advocacy updates, and spotlights deaf-blind people and events around the country;
- Subscription to The Deaf-Blind American magazine (DBA), published twice a year;
- Free listing on our resource page;
- A ten-percent discount on advertising rates for DBA magazine, "AADB Today" e-newsletter and AADB website (contact the AADB Office for further details);
- Discount on national conferences and exhibiting fees during AADB national conference during conference years; and
- Organizational Membership Certificate
